I was raised in Seattle, the completely opposite coast, where the beaches are rocky and everything is evergreen. I had never seen an oak tree until I moved to the south – while Washington is full of nature’s breathtaking beauty, these oak trees never cease to amaze me. White point gardens is full of them! Their winding branches form such a beautiful intertwining of motion and movement as the trees have grown. It’s the perfect metaphor to the ebb and flow of life.
This beautiful couple shared some ebbs and flows with me as we walked the beautiful streets of Downtown Charleston. It was an honor to take their maternity photos for them knowing about their journey to get to this point. Congratulations you two!
